IPT Africa is a Mauritius-based enterprise, which aims to connect with new markets, leverage fresh opportunities and align your payments with the fast-evolving economies of the future, mainly targeting African and Sub-Saharan countries. Businesses sending funds across Africa, frontier markets and beyond can now link to a continent-wide, multi-channel payment platform. With an ever-growing online presence, their goal is to empower global organisations with the tools to significantly improve the way they make payments through reduced costs, increased speed, transparency, and multiple delivery options.

When IPTA’s owner Mark O’Sullivan posted the initial job request looking for professionals to rebrand his company, we presented him with a kickass showcase which not only landed us the contract but a complete 360-rebranding including social media, website and other collaterals which we have closely collaborated on with the Fourlines Design Studio team.
Bearing that in mind, after our initial meeting with the client, our idea while rethinking the logo of IPTA was to make it very corporate as most banking logos would be. However, the client was after something which would make his new concept stand out. Therefore, designing something ‘uncommon’ was the way to go. We ended up with a cyber-neon style branding which the client immediately fell for, leading to the creation of a series of collaterals as well as his online presence which we dressed using just the colours and identity’s fluid shapes and curves.
IPTA’s rebranding was already under work by another agency. They ‘created’ the orange identity above using a ready-made font called space age and charged the client double the price while only delivering a PNG version of the ‘logo’ after promising a full rebranding including a revamped website.
