Stray Love is a UK-based benevolent shelter that saw daylight in 2017 to help stray animals in dire need of a place to call home, where they would be taken care of and most importantly, loved. In May 2020, overwhelmed by a lot of people giving up on their pets being unable to afford their needs anymore due to the sudden pandemic, Stray Love registered as a local company, seeing itself opening its doors to more than 35 previously owned pets.

Brief

The name becoming a brand which in turn quickly became a movement in its local area of operation, Stray Love was in quick need of an identity, a brand world and a full advertising campaign which we had to mould and put out there in approximately 2 weeks time – quite the challenge!

Living by this motto on a daily basis, Olivia makes sure that each of her volunteers, collaborators, sponsors and future ‘pet parents’ as she calls them, understands the importance of giving a fresh start to an abandoned pet. As she often puts it “by adopting you save and by saving you create a unique bond that only you and your new friend for life have; something that cannot be expressed in words”. Animals can feel, connect and share certain emotions that would be as strong as what we, humans, can experience. In the eyes of a rescued animal, this bond is unconditional and goes beyond their gratitude for having been given a new chance at being cherished, again.

Stray Love started as a small private local business that initially bloomed from a kind gesture set up by Olivia Taylor and her friends to take care of animals in need.

In loving memory of my baba,

Before departing for The UK, I somehow felt that I had to say my final goodbyes to my 19-year-old ‘baby’. After receiving the project request and almost outsourcing it, somebody I hold very close to my heart told me, “Perhaps this is her way of saying that she will always be with you!”.

Olivia, thank you for this opportunity. I dedicate this project to my lil’ angel, Youpie. I miss you a lot and cannot wait till we can play together again.
